Quality testing

At Silva, we’ve designed a highly-controlled quality assurance system to ensure that every delivered package is as fresh as it gets.

Our journey starts by picking the farm; our specialists inspect the growers’ practices to ensure they share our sustainable mindset, by conducting various tests on the soil and the irrigation system. Then our dedicated quality engineers receive the freshly harvested crops and inspect them closely, if they comply with Silva’s specifications, they’re automatically transferred to our factory to start processing, deep freezing, and storing them.


Also, we’ve integrated a traceability system in our supply chain so, we give a batch and a lot number for each product, supplier and land lot to be able to detect any problem and fix it immediately.

Finally, a sample of all products is sent to the “QCAP” laboratories to make sure they’re not chemically damaged, free from pesticides and heavy metals.

We sustain human health through our products. To ensure maximum preservation of nourishing content, we use the IQF instant-freeze technique on our vegetables and fruits within 24 hours from harvest.
